For Sale: Dawes Duet Tandem

I have this Dawes Duet taking up space in the garage on offer for £50 in the hope that it might be of use for someone as a project or as a cheap way to try a tandem. 

The good, the bad and the ugly as follows! 

Dawes Duet frame. 20/16 inch. (I'm 6'1'' and my stoker is 5'2'') It's sound but pretty battle scarred. I believe it may have started life as a hire bicycle. It does have disc brake mounts front and back.   

Shimano Tourney 3x7 drive system. The bike had new shifters, shift cables and a new rear derallier about 12 months ago.

Stronglight Cross Over Drive. Plenty of life left in the chain rings. 

Tektro V Brakes. Front brake cable could do with changing, but I'll try and pick one up and do that this week. 

26 inch wheels. (Rim brake) with 2 year old Schwalbe Marathon tyres

There is some cosmetic corosion on the handlebars. It has a Thorn stoker bar which my Stoker says is too short! 

I could probably deliver within reason and notice to the following areas (to tie in with trips to family):

M3 corridor From Winchester to M25,
A3/A31 from Winchester to M25
A34 corridor from Winchester to M40, and up M40 to Banbury,
M4 from Newbury to Chippenham
